Organization
In the Organization settings, you can define the name of your organization, transfer ownership or delete the organization.
General information
In this subsection you can find the following information:
-
Short name — The short name is an internal identifier for your organization. It is set during organization creation and cannot be modified afterward.
-
Full name — The full name should describe your organization — for example, for a company use your company name or for open-source projects, use the project name. The full name can be changed by an administrator at any time.
-
Owner — Displays the owner of this organization. The owner can’t be deleted and has all rights to this organization (e.g. delete the organization or transfer the ownership).
infoChoose the owner carefully. If the owner's email address becomes inaccessible, you will not be able to change the owner yourself. In this case please contact our support.
-
Created at — The time the organization was created.

These settings modify behavior on an organization-wide level. They can be overridden in the project configuration.

-

Single Sign-On
Configure an identity provider to authenticate and log into Testiny via Single Sign-On (SSO). Please refer to the SSO documentation.
External App Access / OAuth2
Enable access from external apps, e.g. to allow connection to Testiny to use the MCP Server.
You can also restrict allowed redirect URLs for your specific OAuth2 apps.
Security Policies
In this section, configure security policies for:
- password requirements
- multi-factor authentication (2FA/MFA) requirements
- API key creation restrictions
In the Enterprise Plan, you can also configure:
- Network access policy (IP allowlist)
For Testiny Server, first setENABLE_IP_ALLOWLISTto "true" to enable the IP allowlist.cautionBe careful not to lock yourself out — for example, when using dynamically assigned IP addresses.
Security policies (like mandatory MFA and password rules) are applied only when users log in.
Users who are already logged in are not affected immediately when a policy changes. The change will apply the next time they log in.
Danger zone
Only the owner is allowed to perform actions in this section!
Transferring ownership
The ownership can be transferred to any user in the organization.
An email will be sent to both the new and the old owner.
Delete organization
Here you can delete your organization completely.
To do so, fill in all the fields in the appearing dialog and proceed with "Confirm".
Please note: This only deletes the organization, but not the user accounts (as the user may be part of another organization).
This action is irreversible, so be really sure if you’d want to proceed!
