Add notifications for Test Run events

I have had some requests on whether it is possible for us to receive notifications on the status of the Test Runs (in particular the Viewers - i.e. our Eng & Prod depts.), so for instance:

  • Test Run Created
  • Test Run Started
  • Test Run Completed
  • (Maybe?) Defect created

Not everyone has the Dashboard up all of the time, so being able to receive some type of email notification (with a toggle per user, and maybe admin settings on which event to send it out on) on when certain things occur in testing, even just a simple notification and a link to the Test Run, would be amazing.

Thank you very much for your feature request!

(Email) notifications are already on our our roadmap, but we cannot predict a date, yet, when we will tackle or release this feature.
It definitely helps to know now what you need as a minimum, thank you!

The more people request such a feature, the sooner it will be worked on and be available.
So if anyone reads this and also needs this feature, please leave an upvote or even a comment/post what your requirements are. Thank you!

Email notifications are definitely needed. I can't seem to find on my server instance a way to enable or configure them. But I need my engineers and I to be able to know when anyone adds a comment to a test case run (when discussing a result for example).
