I have a set of test cases that are used for different variations of a product. When a new product is added, I create a test plan and include which product I’m testing and in which environment in the description but I’d like to also link the test plan (or the resulting test run) to the requirement of a the product variation so the test cases that I’m running for this instance don’t show up as if they were run in the previous variations. Is that something that can be supported in the future?

Currently, Testiny does not support linking requirements directly to test plans or test runs. A workaround would be to add a link to the user story in the test run description, but that of course doesn’t support the bi-directional integration with Jira.
