Feature request - add the option to filter on the user permission fields against a project. As the number of total Testiny users scales, it will create a very long list of users when trying to manage permissions against a project, where most will be simply “no access”.
It would be really useful to filter out “no access” for example, or to search for a user by name to update their permissions against a project.
Same applies to permission groups, even if I create a group for each project, I will see a big long list of all the groups so it would be great to have filters to improve this view.
Thank you for considering this request
Hi and welcome to the Testiny forum!
Thanks for your suggestion - it’s an absolutely understandable one!
Usually, we try to provide filters for all tables, and usually, thanks to the Testiny design, it’s more or less just a configuration to be set.
Unfortunately, with the multiple levels users can get roles (directly, per project, via groups), it’s not that easy for such user/role tables and would require substantial effort.
So I’m making this a feature request to vote on. Let’s see if this is important for other Testiny users as well
If you reads this request and you would also like to have this feature, make sure to vote for this topic. We do consider the number of votes for feature requests in our roadmap and priority planning.
