Testiny v1.8.0

Exciting news from Testiny! :rocket: Our latest release is here, and it’s packed with features! :mag:

Audit log. First up, an often-requested feature: an audit log! Testiny now records all relevant system activities to keep track of every action and change, ensuring transparency and accountability in your testing process.
Note: By default, this feature is disabled. Please get in touch with us if you want to activate the audit log in your Testiny account.

Test case attachments. Another frequently requested feature is the attachments to test cases. You can now add images or files to your test cases by simply dragging & dropping the file, or choosing a file in the file dialog. The attached files are also shown in the test run so that they are easily accessible during test runs.

Additional result state “Skipped”. As many of you have been missing a result state that indicates that a test case has just been skipped in the test run, but was not necessarily blocked, we added the state “Skipped”. From now on, you can use this additional result state in your test runs.

Duplicate test steps. No more copying and pasting test case steps: you can now easily duplicate test steps from the edit menu.

Testiny now also stores filter settings for tables so that they are restored when the page is reloaded. We’ve added the “quick-create” button to empty test case folders and we’ve allowed to add missing custom field values on importing test cases automatically.
