Role permissions: Read access for all projects, write access for only one project

I would like to create a Testiny user that will have read access to all Testnity projects, but can only modify a specific project

Can this be done?

Hi and welcome to the Testiny forum!

Yes, this is possible with the “project permissions” feature, which is available in the Enterprise plan, see here for a comparison of all Testiny pricing plans.

Then you can do the following in the user management

  • assign the Viewer role per default to the user
  • then enable “Use project-specific roles” for that user
  • assign e.g. the “Editor” role just for one project
  • save

You can also create a permission group for that use case and assign all users, who should have these permissions, to this group.
