Enterprise Authentication: Single-Sign On (SSO)

Testiny offers multiple ways to login and options to restrict logins. Currently, we support login via email and password, and single sign-on. You can also restrict logins by requiring SSO logins for your Testiny organization.

Email login

For free plans, authentication is only available via email and password. If you want to use single sign-on, please upgrade to a paid plan.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Paid feature

Please note that single sign-on (SSO) will be available in a future coporate billing plan. Please contact us at [email protected] if you would like to have early access to this feature.

Testiny supports various identity providers to authenticate via single sign-on. SSO is only available for paid plans and can be configured in the organization settings by clicking the button "Configure single sign-on". In this panel, you can select the identity provider and set the URL to the OpenID configuration, the SSO domains, the client ID and the client secret. Detailed descriptions for each provider can be found on the respective pages of our documentation.
We currently support the following providers:

If you want to set up SSO with another provider, you can do that via the OpenID Connect protocol:

If you have any questions or need any help setting up SSO, either contact us using Testiny’s built-in feedback system or simply write us an email to: [email protected].

Restricting logins

To restrict logins for added security, you can set the logins to require SSO. When SSO is required, users can only log in with the configured identity provider. This setting can be set per user, so you can also allow single users to only log in via SSO, via email & password or both.

note

Please note that the owner of the organization in Testiny cannot be restricted to require SSO login so that the owner can always log in with email & password.
