- Getting started is simple: Begin with a free account (21 day free trial, no credit card required) and upgrade to a paid subscription anytime. Don't have an account yet? Sign-up here.
- What payment options do you support?
- We support automatic credit card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Giropay. For custom Enterprise plans, Testiny Serveror or more than 25 users we additionally support wire transfer for annual billing, contact us for further details.
- Do you offer an on-premises installation?
- Yes, Testiny Server. If you're interested in evaluating Testiny Server, please contact us.
- I'm testing for an open-source project – how can I get a free instance?

Subscriptions & Billing
- Can I get a quote for Testiny?

- I would like to place an order
- We are happy to accept an order for annual subscriptions. Please contact us.
- Can I still change the rate if I pay in advance?
- You can change your number of users at any time but seats stay active until the end of your current billing period.
- Can I downgrade from a paid plan to the Free Plan at a later stage?
- Yes – however, there is a 3-user-limit on the Free Plan and you may need to deactivate users to stay within this limit. There are also limits on test cases/test runs as well as the storage quota.
- What happens when I'm running out of storage or test cases?
- Your instance will not be stopped immediately; you can still use Testiny. Please contact us and we'll find a solution together.
Licenses & Seats
- Do all users need a license?
- Yes. Every person who signs in to Testiny requires a seat.
- How are users counted?
- All active users are counted for the subscription. You can deactivate and activate users at any time. Depending on their role, the user requires a User seat or Viewer seat.
- What's the difference between users and viewers?
- Viewer accounts are restricted to viewing and commenting test entities and cannot create or edit them.
- Do administrators and owners also need a User seat?
- Yes, even if you are the owner or an administrator, your account still requires a User seat (not a Viewer seat).
Free trial
- What happens when my free trial ends?
- Your account will automatically be downgraded to the Free Plan. You can still access your data and upgrade to a paid plan at any time. Users over the 3-user limit will be disabled, and if you have reached a limit, you may need to delete test cases or runs to create new ones.
- What is the user limit for the free trial?
- The trial includes 25 user seats by default. If you need additional users seats just let us know — we can easily add more.
